Your privacy, simply explained

Snoozy is built for people who need better sleep. We believe your bedtime thoughts are deeply personal, and we treat them that way. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you stay in control.

What we collect

We collect the minimum necessary to make Snoozy work well for you. Here is exactly what that includes:

• Session metadata — when you use the app and for how long. This helps us understand your sleep patterns and suggest better timing.
• Brain dump categories — we store the categories your thoughts are sorted into (Do, Remember, Let Go), but never the full text of what you write. Your actual words stay on your device unless you opt into cloud sync.
• Feature usage patterns — which features you use (stories, breathing exercises, bilateral stimulation), how often, and any ratings you provide. This helps us improve content recommendations.
• Your preferences — sound choices, story preferences, sleep profile answers, and notification settings.

How we use it

• Personalization — tailor content suggestions based on what actually works for you. If boring stories help you drift off faster than breathing exercises, we will suggest more stories.
• Pattern recognition — identify harder nights and effective features so Snoozy gets better at helping you over time.
• App improvement — anonymized, aggregated analytics help us understand which features matter most. Your data is never sold to anyone. Ever.

Your control

• Offline by default — Snoozy works without an internet connection. Your data stays on your device unless you choose otherwise.
• Optional cloud sync — if you sign in with Apple, your preferences and session history sync across devices. This is entirely opt-in.
• Data deletion — you can delete all your data at any time from within the app. When you delete, it is gone. We do not keep shadow copies.

Third-party services

We use a small number of trusted services to operate Snoozy:

• RevenueCat — manages subscriptions. They receive your anonymous purchase data but never your personal information.
• Supabase — powers optional cloud sync. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
• Vercel Analytics — anonymous website analytics for this landing page only. No cookies, no personal data.

Children's privacy

Snoozy is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app. Minor clarifications may be made without notice.
